Data Deletion

This page explains how you can delete your Bible Walk account and request deletion of personal data.
1) Delete your account in the app
If the option is available in your version of the app:
- Open the Bible Walk app
- Go to Profile
- Scroll down to Delete Account
- Tap Delete Account and confirm when prompted
Account deletion is permanent. We delete or anonymise personal data linked to your account where applicable, subject to the retention notes in Section 3.
2) If you cannot access the app
Email us at info@biblewalkapp.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and include the email address associated with your Bible Walk account. We may ask for additional information to verify ownership of the account.
3) What we delete and what we may retain
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize:
- Your account information (username, account identifiers)
- Your user content (prompts, journal entries, reflections, feedback)
- Your usage data linked to your account
We may retain limited information only where necessary for:
- Legal obligations (for example accounting and tax — typically up to 7 years)
- Security and fraud prevention
- Resolving disputes or enforcing our terms
Subscription purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are handled by those platforms. We do not receive your full payment card details from app stores.
4) Timeline
We aim to complete valid deletion requests within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days.
